One can enjoy the Mumbai monsoon at its best over bubbly drinks and the perfect brunch menu created by Chef Cyrus and his team. The menu has all the classic brunch staples.

We started with the salad bar with chip  dips and salads . In addition there was Cheese platter with a variety of breads. paired with live food station that  had lo to offer from Satays,  Eggs , Waffles , Pancakes , Flat bread Pizzas and Jambalaya. Along with lots of  Dessert to choose from . We tried quite a few things and they were good in quality and taste, overall it was a well compiled menu.

Write Away

I have a major OCD, I love my workspace and try to keep it super organized (will share pictures in another post soon)

Since I work from home, have created a small working space for myself. The desk is usually clean and drawers full of stationery.

Yes am a sucker for quirky stationery and end up shopping for books, planners , notepads etc. Confession am a hoarder.

Doodle Collection was kind enough to send me this wonderful planner, some how they figured my obsession.

Doodle collection provides fun writing solutions, products are colorful, design is fun and quirky. While I was going through their catalog online, found their product  have a wide range of diaries and planners to suit everyone’s needs.

image

Scribble Planner

I had opted for the Scribble Planner. The design was pretty eye catching and vibrant . The material used is of high quality, the paper felt very luxurious. The planner has different sections with additional pages for notes and monthly calendar which I liked, easy to make a note of appointments etc.

image

Colorful calendar and Notes

They also have a special range of stationery designed for kids. With such attractive options available am sure it would be wonderful  for parents to get their children to write more.

image

Range for Kids

Doodle Collection has also designed a  limited edition range of planners in collaboration with ‘Yash Raj Films’ inspired by their hit films.

image

Bell Diary from Yash Raj Collection

From the YRF collection loved the Bell Planner which is their take on the classic hit ‘Dilwale Dulhania le Jaayenge’. Must get one before they run out it.

Diaries and Planners from Doodle Collection could also be a wonderful gifting solution for your loved one’s,as they say “We write to taste life twice,in the moment and in retrospect”-AnaisNin

Sunny Days

In Mumbai sun is getting brighter, the  weather is getting unbearably warmer, humidity is at an all time high and we are finding ways and means to keep ourselves cool.

Summer is all about smaller meals and lots of icy cool drinks. Here is a list of new menus and specials in some of the most loved Mumbai Restaurant’s

Bonobo – Bandra

image

Jungle Curry with Pineapple Rice

Top on the list for various reasons. Love the casual vibe. They have wonderful open air space which can get quite warm during summer. The owners have always been creative, whether it’s the kind of music gigs they host or the kind of food they serve.

Their new menu  which has lots of  diversity in terms of cuisine , yes its bar food with loads of comfort.

Must try The Woks , Jungle Curry with Pineapple Rice , Pao with Gravy and for that extra sweetness they have Nutella Pav . All this can be paired  with a glass of chilled beer from Gateway Brewery.

Sancho’s – Khar and Colaba

image

Mango Popsicles

One of my loved cuisine is Mexican and the days when I feel lazy ( which is most of the time 😉 ) have no inclination of making Mexican at home,I end up at Sancho’s.

Their Fiesta Nachos , Potato skins, Qusadillias and Fajitas are a few of my liked dishes. Also recommend Tlayudas which is a Mexican Baked Pizza topped with beans, pico, charred corn, generous portions of avocado, sour cream, lime, pimentos plus lots of cheese and garnished cilantro. Yes yum and you can pair this with a chilled pitcher of sangria.

Recently Sancho’s have introduced small plates, which gives customers a chance to try a wider variety of food from their awesome menu. They are also hosting The Mexican Chile and Margarita Festival, which runs until the 31st May.

Spotted this picture of Mango Popsicles on Instagram, so good looking and one of the best summer indulgent desserts.

Dome – Intercontinental Marine Drive

image

Breathtaking View at Dome

Located at the Intercontinental Marine Drive this one has the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.

Popular for their Sunday Sundowner’s The Dome has put together a Melange Mojito Menu. This one would be available from the 26th April ’15 – 5th May ’15.

The menu offers some unusual combinations like the mango jalapeño mojito , green tea mojito and the sparkling mojito, which is a mix of sparkling wine with fresh lime and  mint with a dash of light rum. Sounds very refreshing and the ultimate beat the heat drink.

Watch the beautiful sunset with an icy cool glass of mojito, the best way to end the long summer day.
